How to add an eID card?

1 Download the BetrSign® mobile app to your smartphone and start it.
2 Prepare your eID card and password.
3 Tap Start and follow the instructions.
4 Enter the 6-digit CAN code, which can be found on the bottom right of the front page of your eID card.
5 Position your eID card to the back of your smartphone, where the NFC reader is usually located. The location of the NFC reader varies from one smartphone to another. Try and position your eID card near different parts of your smartphone.
6 Once you have successfully added your eID, you will be able to use it every time you log in.

If you have added more than one eID to the app, you’ll have to choose the right one to log in.

Why can multiple ID cards be added to one mobile device?

The number of eIDs you can add to the app is unlimited. You can add the identity cards of your family members or friends, but to log in with an eID from the list, you must have the eID with you, as the app needs to read it every time you log in, and you must enter a password (PIN).

How do I log in with my eID?

1 You can log in to BetrSign using a web browser on your PC or via smartphone.
2 Before logging in to the portal, select “eID with mobile app” from the login methods.”.
A. If you’re logging in using a browser on your computer, launch the mobile app on your smartphone and capture the QR code on the computer. B. If you are logging in using a browser on your smartphone, when you click “Log in”, the mobile app will open and guide you through the login process
Open the mobile app and scan the QR code to log in from your computer screen. Once you click “Log in”, the mobile app opens and you can follow the instructions.

3 Enter your PIN code in the mobile app.

5 Based on where you successfully logged in, you can continue working either on your computer or smartphone.

There was an error transferring the login attempt to the server – what now?

There can be several reasons for errors when transferring data to the server. If more than ten minutes elapsed between the initiation of the login request and the successful reading of the eID, you will need to start the process again on the page where you tried to log in. In addition, check that everything is OK with your network connection. If your eID has expired or been cancelled, you will also not be able to log in.
